Awww, hearing you two together is like coming home for me. Loving all the talk of making rituals our own…it keeps me from getting bogged with the mindset “am I doing this right?” Instead I just tune into my heart and feel it with my being. Not sure why I always need permission to do this, but it so helps. Thank you ladies🙌🏻
I loved this so much! I loved the original post and was so glad for the reminder. Your explanation of why it fits for you when traditional "witchy" things don't was so spot on for me as well. All the traditional how-to witch books just don't do it for me but connecting with nature and the elements around me in my own space definitely does. I love your writing and in so excited to see more in this space!

I love this so much. There is an herbalist (in the Asheville area!) I've sat in ceremony with several times and she always calls in the four directions at the beginning of each circle. It's always so grounding and powerful; this conversation was a really nice reminder that I can call it in myself without waiting for some grand ritual or someone else to tell me what to do.
