This was heartbreaking and hopeful at once. Thank you.
It is magic to open my eyes in the morning and wonder what wonders I will see in the in between moments of the daily routine. They are perpetually present.
Magic can manifest itself in any situation. She is able to heal, to give strength, to return to faith. It seems to me that this is the uniqueness of magic. It is different, deep, eternal and incomprehensible.
Beautiful, Maia and Laura. I loved reading your notes to each other. Keeping your sister and family in my thoughts and that they continue to stay safe. Xx
There’s so much magic and medicine in this! 💗Thank you for writing about your doubts of magic in the face of the current situation in Israel, Maia.
I’ve just received the much needed “we’re okay” message and have been wondering what to write on Substack when in relation to other people’s losses, fears and nightmares nothing else seems to matter.
“From observing to attempting to create.” Yes, indeed. This is where I find myself also. Thanks to both of you for this magical piece (and your kind words). May your sister, family and friends continue to be protected and safe. Xx
What is Magic?
The most beautiful thing I’ve read today. Thank you 🙏
